F-f-f-freezing!

I know Florida has NOTHING on the rest of the US ... but seriously, I am cold. I've been cold for weeks, other than a short warm up last week. I've been having to crank up the heat every night ... which is sad. It's really not THAT cold.

However, this week it got in the 70's, and I never remembered to turn my air back on. It felt great in the house, I only noticed yesterday because I couldn't figure out why the house felt so stuffy.

I am soooo glad I don't live up north ..while this is gearing up to be one of the coldest winters in awhile, it could be a LOT worse.

    I'm one of the freezing people in the midwest. Most of the days since Thursday have been about 20 degrees. I have not left my house except to take out the trash since noon on Saturday. On my way out to go shopping Saturday, I could get the 4WD engaged on the truck and couldn't get out of the driveway without it. When I got back home on Saturday after grocery shopping, I got stuck trying to park the truck in the driveway (it goes uphill). It just seems easier to stay home for awhile since I don't have to work this week anyway.

    We should be ringing in the New Year at a whopping 28 degrees or so in the St. Louis area! Wink

    We're dipping down to zero again tonight in Chicago. I keep inching up the heat because I just can't get warm.

    I hope this makes you all feel warmer. The first winter we lived here, we had to live in a travel trailer while we built our house. (no rentals here)
    The temp. got down to 22 degrees below zero and our clothes and blankets froze to the travel trailer walls at night.
